Your regular pet wellness exam is the most important step you can take in providing preventive senior care for your pet, as well as early detection of many diseases associated with mature pets.
We will conduct an extensive senior exam, including an evaluation of bodily functions and organs; skin and coat; eyes, ears, and teeth; and diagnostic laboratory work pertinent to your animal. During the senior health exam, we will discuss with you any changes in your pet’s activity, appearance, and behaviour. Some things we talk about at this veterinary exam are:

- Cognitive and behaviour changes—comprehension and memory
- Physical changes—general deterioration and health
