Dr. Michael Cooper

Dr. Mike Cooper earned his undergraduate degree in Commerce from McGill University in 2009, before his love of animals pulled him towards veterinary medicine. He completed his pre-clinical veterinary work at Ross University on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts and his clinical year at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He moved back to his hometown of Thornhill and began applying his hard-earned knowledge at Green Lane Animal Hospital in 2016. Dr. Cooper has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine, inspired by the tough cases he saw in St. Kitts and his desire to extend the quality and longevity of the life of all pets! He enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking and canoeing, while spending time with his two rescue-pups, Penny and Nash and his orange tabby, Benji.
